Curator in Action

IKT Congress 2023 Up Close: Curator in Action on Instagram

The "Curator in Action" project is a dynamic initiative set to take place during the IKT Congress 2023 in North Wales. This project aims to enhance the virtual presence and engagement of the Congress by leveraging the popular social media platform, Instagram.

Auronda Scalera, a member of IKT, has been selected to spearhead this initiative. As the designated curator for this project, Auronda will curate and share a series of Instagram Stories that will provide real-time highlights and insights from the IKT Congress 2023. Through a combination of photos, videos, captions, and interactive features, Auronda will offer a unique behind-the-scenes look at the congress proceedings, exhibitions, discussions, and key moments.

By utilizing Instagram's Stories feature, the "Curator in Action" project seeks to create a more immersive and engaging experience for both the attendees of the congress and a global audience who are unable to be physically present. This innovative approach to curating and sharing content aims to bridge the gap between the physical and digital aspects of the congress, allowing a broader range of art professionals, enthusiasts, and the general public to participate and gain insights into the world of contemporary art curation.

Overall, the "Curator in Action" project represents a forward-thinking approach to combining art, technology, and engagement, contributing to the broader goals of the IKT Congress 2023 in fostering dialogue, networking, and the exchange of ideas within the contemporary art curator community.
