IKT Congress 2026: Turin & Milan, Italy

IKT Congress 2026 will take place in Turin and Milan, Italy, two cities that together reflect the depth and diversity of Italy’s contemporary art landscape.

Turin is known for its strong artistic heritage, experimental spirit, and long-standing support for contemporary practice. The city brings together historic architecture, independent spaces, and major cultural events, creating a thoughtful and reflective environment for exchange and collaboration.

Milan, Italy’s largest metropolitan centre, offers a contrasting energy shaped by international networks, design, fashion, and innovation. Its dense concentration of galleries, institutions, and creative industries makes it a key point of reference for contemporary culture in Europe.

Registration deadline: 31 March 2026

All Congress participants must pay a non-refundable registration fee.

  • IKT Members and Member Candidates: €120
    To use the member rate, IKT Members must have their 2026 membership fee paid. If you are unsure of your membership status, please contact ikt.curatorial@gmail.com.

  • Guest Attendees (Non-Members): €320

  • If a place becomes available, the payment link will be sent to you by email.

IKT HS Travel Grant

Application deadline: 9 March 2026

IKT offers a limited number of €500 travel grants to support IKT Members with costs associated with attending the IKT Annual Congress.

  • Available exclusively to active IKT Members (An active IKT Member is defined as a member with a current and fully paid membership, including payment for the 2026 membership year.)

  • The grant cannot be awarded more than twice to the same person, unless the applicant’s most recent award was received more than three years ago.

Please note that the travel grant is contingent on attending the Congress. As Congress registration is now fully booked, applicants who are not already registered are welcome to join the waiting list, however if a place does not become available, the application will not be eligible for consideration. If you have already applied for a grant and received a confirmation email, your place was automatically reserved.
