IKT Congress 2028:
Lisbon, Portugal

We are delighted to announce that Lisbon has been selected as the host city for the IKT Congress 2028, with provisional dates in April/May 2028.

Returning to Lisbon for the first time since the 1999 IKT Congress, the 2028 edition will engage with a city and region that have undergone a profound cultural transformation, now marked by a dynamic contemporary art scene, expanded institutional landscape, and strong connections between Europe, Africa, and Latin America.

The congress will be organised by IKT member Nuno Sacramento and local partners, in close dialogue with the IKT board, with a programme extending across Lisbon and the wider region. Further details will be announced in due course.
