WEAVING COMMUNITY. KEYS TO A SUSTAINABLE ROADMAP.

On November 22 and 23, 2023, the Atlantic Centre for Modern Art (CAAM) on the island of Gran Canaria is hosting the IV Conference of the CAAM Sustainable Classroom. This year, the focus is on the importance of establishing networks and alliances to build more resilient cultural and artistic institutions and organisations. Directed by specialist Blanca de la Torre, the Sustainable Classroom is expanding to the international arena to create connections with other geographies and projects, in order to address sustainability from the local to the global, and vice versa.

ARTSail Founder and IKT Vice President Ombretta Agró Andruff will participate in a round table discussion to discuss ARTSail programs, as well as IKT’s commitment to encourage the curatorial community to adopt more sustainable and less carbon-intensive practices.

SPEAKERS: Patrizia Braga, Melting Pro | Kristine Guzmán, Fundación Siglo | Susana Pallarés, SINAPSIS | Ombretta Agró, IKT and ARTSail. Moderated by Blanca de la Torre.

WHEN: Wednesday Nov 22, 11:30 GMT – 12:30 CET – 6:30AM EST

LANGUAGE: Spanish

The discussion will be streamed on the CAAM YouTube Channel.
