RAD Curatorial 2026
RAD Association and EUNIC Romania are pleased to announce the Open Call for RAD Curatorial 2026, a five-day curatorial program taking place in Bucharest between April 21–26, 2026. Now in its fourth edition, the program brings together curators, writers, and cultural practitioners from around the world to engage with the Romanian art scene through discussions, guided visits, studio tours, and direct involvement in the RAD Art Fair.
Building on the success of previous editions—which have hosted over 60 curators from 17 countries—the 2026 program focuses on how curatorial practice can develop support systems in times of transition and instability. Participants will explore institutional, discursive, digital, and human frameworks that help shape sustainable artistic and curatorial ecosystems.
The Open Call is addressed to curators and art writers with a minimum of three years of experience and a demonstrable interest in the Romanian and/or Central and Eastern European art contexts. Participation is free of charge, with accommodation provided by the organizers and several travel grants available for international applicants.
